Yoga has changed my life in so many ways, that I don’t know where to begin… It’s all about the journey.

I grew up in a home where dancing, athletics and movement of the body was accepted and encouraged. Fast forward to “adult life” — work, raising children, responsibilities — and our self care to often falls by the wayside. Then, one day after years of neglect, we come home to our bodies and wonder why and where we abandoned ourselves along the way.

During my long career as a photojournalist, by body had many aches and pains. I started doing yoga to stretch and feel strong again. The change was so noticeable that I fell in love with yoga and wanted to do a teacher training to see where that journey might take me.

I’ve been teaching yoga over 11 years now. Receiving my E-RYT 500, through Yoga Alliance has been one of my greatest defining moments in life, because it’s a reflection of my love of Yoga and my commitment to opening this life-centering pathway to others.

Namaste,

Welcome to my yoga classes

The Dalia Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, answered “Man. Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that e does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then he dies having never really lived.” ~ Dalai Lama
